Artist  Biography

CH Kennedy has been creating art for over 40 years. He has mastered realism in several mediums to include graphite, colored pencil, acrylic and oil paint.  He has had multiple one-man shows throughout NC, and has had several featured artist honors throughout his career.  Kennedy strives to be diverse with his subjects and focuses on creativity just as much, if not more than technical skill. His style is constantly evolving but the main motivation for creating art will always be self-expression and connecting with people.  While being a member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, a descendant of the Hayes Locklear lineage, he is currently focusing on reconnecting to art that draws from his personal experiences growing up in the Lumbee culture.
